Konovalets

The Netherlands has exhumed the remains of Konovalets, a founder of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists, ahead of their planned reburial at a historic cemetery in Ukraine.

The Russian Embassy in The Hague condemned the move, accusing the Netherlands of turning a blind eye to Kiev’s glorification of Nazi collaborators.

Political scientist Vladimir Karasev argues that the reburial reflects Ukraine’s long-standing policy of honoring nationalist figures and calls it ‘another PR stunt by Zelensky.’
